I found the feature set of this samsung pn51d530 just the ticket for what i used to be yearning for. i used to be yearning for a skinny bodied hdtv for bluray and hi-def sports viewing, primarily a no frills, quality hdtv viewing expertise.
With 2 hdmi ports, a usb port, ybr connections, and a coaxial input, I provides a thumbs up to connectivity (some would possibly need additional hdmi inputs, but i’m happy with two).
The picture quality is amazing, terribly nice deep blacks, and no image flicker to talk of. The 600hz refresh rate produces a good looking, full and detailed image.
I found the tv user interface to be straight forward, straightforward to be told, and simple to use. The menu is extremely soft on the eyes, and isn’t any ways that invasive or annoying.
Even the tv volume indicator is well thought out; the readout bar seems vertically on the left side of the screen (which doesn’t block subtitles or sports programming with bottom scrolling tickers) and displays just long enough to look at the output nevertheless disappears quickly as to not disturb program viewing.
