I think that lg 55lv5500 the simplest TV I ever had. I actually have Samsung and Sony equipment and this one is best, to be fair these other TVs are 1 and a couple of years older and clearly technology has progressed considerably within the last 2 years and price has gone down. i’m convinced that the equivalent competitive models are probably just nearly as good since all of them use an equivalent basic components. I needed an upgrade and this model from LG had very cheap price (at Amazon)and this why I bought it. i’m more than happy with it, image is incredibly sharp, start off time is incredibly short, brightness is outstanding, sound is a huge improvement over the, unnamed, product it replaces. Again this, in my opinion, is all thanks to technology and mainly the utilization of LEDs for back-lighting. Read more

lg infinia 50pz750 Specs
I bought this TV (lg 50pz750 plasma) for Father’s Day and had it just but a month. I LOVED it..easy to line up,remote easy to use, great image, accessed Netflix easily, …UNTIL one morning we tend to turned it on, when having the power completely off, and therefore the screen was tinted RED . when it slow it would flicker between a standard image and therefore the black/red image. I googled LG PLASMA problem and found something regarding LGs,Phillips, and Magnavox plasmas having this problem. did not have to be compelled to browse to any extent further therefore I called AMAZON and asked to come back it for a refund. i am therefore glad I bought it through Amazon…no hassle..no shipping charges..very easy. Their shipping company just comes to my house and picks it up.I was also just inside the 30 day come back limit. i am replacing it with a Samsung Pn51D7000, a little pricier, but also an excellent deal on Amazon.
I STRONGLY suggest that any TV buyer do these 2 things:
1. SAVE the shipping box, you can’t get a refund without it)
2. buy an extended Warranty from SQUARETRADE. Read more
