It’s going to ONLY take digital cable television – this means the “free to be able to air” channels you would get if you plugged the DIGITAL cable television into the TV directly, without the cable container.
Cable boxes output a good analog signal. When we searched, we couldn’t locate any kind of model which outputs an electronic signal (although the support individuals at Comcast can claim or else, don’t feel them — they’re considering the input for the cable boxes, not the actual output).
